Since the one seat system started in 2003, the PLP have won the seat in all 5 General Elections and also won a by-election [in 2014, see Bernews coverage here]. The statistics below only cover the General Election results.
The 2020 General Election saw the PLP’s Jamahl Simmons retain the seat in a two way race with the FDM’s Dr Christina Storey.
