Constituency #35 Sandys North Central General Election Results [2025 Update]

The 2025 General Election saw a four-way race, with the incumbent Dennis Lister [PLP] winning the seat with 346 votes [55.81%], Independent Christopher Bean second with 168 votes [27.10%], the OBA’s Rodrae Durrant third with 101 votes [16.29%] while Independent Eugene Brangman was fourth with 5 votes [0.81%].

The 2025 General Election will be a four-way race between the incumbent Dennis Lister [PLP], Rodrae Durrant [OBA], and Christopher Bean and Eugene Brangman [Independent].

Since the one seat system started in 2003, the PLP have won the seat in all five General Elections with over 60% of the time. The seat is currently held by the PLP’s Dennis Lister, who serves as Speaker of the House and is the longest serving Member of Parliament, having first been elected to Parliament in the 1989 General Election as one of the two MPs for Sandys North under the then system of dual seat constituencies.
